termites: treating crawlspace when trenching

When treating a house you should treat around anything that is touching the ground and your house.  So for under the house, you should treat around the inside perimeter of the crawl space and in addition to this the most important treatment is around the piers supporting the house in the crawl space.  All of these areas are treated the same as the outside perimeter, by digging a 6 inch trench and applying 4 gallons per 10 lineal feet.  This is the proper way to treat a house.
